How long have you been CrossFitting? 
5 months

Athletic Background: 
I have zero experience as an athlete! unless you count that one embarrassing season I joined the softball team because my best friend was on it. yep. I was that girl in the outfield more interested in cartwheels and dandelions than watching for the ball.  

What were your thoughts after your first WOD? 
I have been going to the gym to work out for several years, and my first Crossfit WOD was the most challenging workout I’ve ever experienced - I had these simultaneous thoughts - what in the world am I getting myself into? and when can I do that again?

What is something no one knows about you?

I’m a singer. I love to sing and sing constantly - there’s always a song in my head. 

What are your training/fitness goals?
At the moment I’m working on Double Unders, but overall I want to be stronger and healthier. 

What is your favorite CrossFit WOD/movement?
I love the olympic lifts. Clean and Jerk and the Snatch are challenging and complex movements that I think are fun to work on. 

What is your least favorite WOD/movement?

What is your favorite cheat food?
French fries

What’s your favorite thing about CrossFit?
It’s hard to pick one thing. I love the challenge, the feeling of accomplishment when you push through something you didn’t think you could do. I also love the community and constant encouragement to keep going.

Any advice for people just getting started?
Go at your own pace and try not to compare yourself to other athletes. The coaches will all give you helpful tips to achieve better form - listen to all of them! And try to have fun with it.
