How long have you been CrossFitting? 
3 Months

Athletic Background: 
Played Football, Basketball, and Baseball in HS. Completed the Chicago Marathon in 2009. 

What were your thoughts after your first WOD? 
That was humbling. I thought I was in better shape.

What is something no one knows about you?
Walter Payton was one of my assistant basketball coaches at Hoffman Estates HS

What are your training/fitness goals?
As a firefighter I want to be able to physically operate at a high level throughout my career and make it to retirement injury-free.

What is your favorite CrossFit WOD/movement?
The snatch. 

What is your least favorite WOD/movement?

What is your favorite cheat food?
Pizza and beer

What’s your favorite thing about CrossFit?
The community atmosphere, and all of the Strength and WODs are programmed making me do some things I’d probably avoid if I were on my own.

Any advice for people just getting started?
Listen to the coaches and get comfortable being uncomfortable.
