Haven't signed up for the CrossFit Open yet?   You still have time!!   The first workout is released on February 27.  This is the one time a year that you are able to participate in something with the entire CrossFit community.  Can't do muscle ups?  So what.  Can't do double unders?  So what.  Can't snatch more than 45 pounds?  So what.  The workouts are scaled to be lighter / less difficult in the beginning.  We repeat these workouts throughout the course of the year as a sort of benchmark to see how far you have come in a year. Why not just do it, and see where you end up along with the rest of the community?  This is an opportunity to feel a little pressure because you want to do your best.  As a result, you will probably push yourself harder than you normally would.  More intensity drives faster adaptation and gains.   Don't do it for anyone else though, but for yourself.

Strength/Skill:

4 x 5 Power Snatch + Snatch Balance, increase each set

WOD:

7 Minute AMRAP

15 Double Unders

3 Thrusters (155,105+) (115,80)

Post-WOD:

3 x 15 TTB
