I read this article today on CrossFit Games athlete Jenny Labaw. She broke her foot a week out from the start of the open, yet still managed to do 150 reps of 13.1 - on one leg.  She's an impressive person who has had to overcome big obstacles in her life including being epileptic.  What impressed me though most of all, was which lens she picked to look at ther situation.  CrossFit is full of people like this that offer great inspirational stories - one of the many reasons I love this community of people.  Here's a link to her blog:

"The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.”  Randy PauschThe Last Lecture
