Happy Thursday!  If you have been in all week, keep it light today, and use it as an active recovery day, and be prepared for Friday.

We did a lot of bar work yesterday and just wanted to talk briefly about those little dots of joy that you've probably developed below your fingers.  We posted a callus care product that we recommend to facebook the other week.  An alternative option is to use a pumice stone at the end of your shower once a week.  Managing your calluses and keeping them trim will minimize the chances of you tearing one on the bar (which is unpleasant to say the least - and also puts you out for a few days).  If you have any questions, ask one of the coaches or any of the other experienced CrossFitters around the gym.  There are also CrossFitters out there that wear gloves  or gymnastics wraps when using the pull up bar (though I don't think I have seen many people around Enclave using them.)   It is perfectly ok if you would like to, lots of people do.



Skillwork of the following movements

  • 2-3 minutes of double under work
  • Pressing series:  Shoulder Press / Push Press / Push Jerk - light weight, technique work



3 Rounds for time of  the following:

  • 500 M Row
  • 30 abmat situps
