 So - who's least favorite movement is now the wall ball?  Great effort yesterday everyone!!!  "Karen" is a TOUGH workout and somewhat monochromatic - don't worry, we shouldn't see this one again for about a year or so.  Even though this is a pretty wretched workout, there should be some takeaways and successes.  For many, they used RX weight ball for the first time.  Others started to achieve the full range of motion for the movement and others were able to find an efficient rhythm.  Like I said, we will most definitely not be doing this exact workout for a long time to come, but we will be doing the movement again in the next few weeks.  Take the gains that you made yesterday, and apply it in the future.

 

On a separate note, if your legs are very sore from yesterday's workout - don't think staying away from the gym is always the best recovery.  Getting in some movement to bring fresh blood flow to your legs will likely be more beneficial than not, just tone down the intensity.

WOD:

4 rounds, each for time of:

  • 500 M row
  • 25 abmats

Rest 1:1 or 2-3 minutes between rounds.

Score is total time to complete.
